The aim of this research is to examine the official arrangements and policies, which were materialized from Ottoman until the early years of Republic for being nationalised in educational field. In the research using qualitative model, the documents on the subject existing in the literature were analised and official texts were examined by using document review method. Study results on the data obtained in training in the last period of the Ottoman Empire and the Republic of Turkey was subjected to content analysis of the first year has been achieved has been made on behalf of the great innovations of nationalization. To save the education system that heritaged from Ottoman to Republic of Turkey and was disrupted in all fields, it was aimed at reaching a national education system. In this context, a series of official regulations were realised. These offficial regulations and policies were studied in this research and the results are given in the epilogue.
