Annotated bibliography of books and theses related to the history of Rize

This study aims to compile an annotated bibliography of books and postgraduate theses in the field of history that focus on the province of Rize. The limited number of local historical studies and the fragmented nature of existing research constitute the starting point of this thesis. Academic works concerning Rize, spanning from past to present, have been examined, evaluated based on their content, and organized in a manner that seeks to provide a coherent body of literature to guide future research. In this respect, the thesis aims both to contribute to the development of local historiography specific to Rize and to serve as a fundamental reference source for researchers working in this field.
