An Application of Computer Aided Measured Drawings and Modelling of Historic Buildings It has been necessity to utilizing contemporary measurement and visualizing techniques in order to recording historic buildings and their sites which are under protection. In this computer based studies; Close Range Photogrammetry is used to get accurate and sensitive measurements, Close Range Photogrammetry and 3D Modelling Techniques are used to build 3D Models, and Geographic Information Systems are used to get an accurate digital inventory. In the frame work of this study; Close Range Photogrammetry, 3D Modelling Techniques and Geographic Information Systems are tested to measure, render and form a database on the Ortahisar historic district and the Trabzon Provincial Culture and Tourism Directorate Building in it. In the first chapter; general information is given about the goal and the method of the study, the techniques which are used and the application examples related to subject which are in the literature. In the second chapter; the photogrammetric measured drawings of facades of the Trabzon Provincial Culture and Tourism Directorate Building and its 3D Photogrammetric Model which are related to the existing conditions of the building, and the 3D CAD Models of the building and the surrounding site are prepared. These products prepared by contemporary techniques are related with each other by the help of Geographic Information System. In the third chapter; the positive and negative aspects of the techniques that are used had been discussed. In the forth and the last chapter; the results of the research and recommendations had given.
