The verb "ver-" in historical eastern Turkish and contemporary Kazan Tatar and Cuvas Turkish (in terms of meaning, structure and function)

This study includes the result of the verb ver-in Historical Eastern Turkish, contemporary Kazan Tatar Turkish and Chuvash Turkish, examining the place of the verb in the grammar and vocabulary of each dialect in terms of meaning and function, and making a general evaluation as a result of these examinations. In the first part of the thesis, the verb ver- is analyzed in terms of structure. Afterwards, the phono logical features of the verb are given and the sound changes and sound equivalences in all dialects are mentioned. In the morphological analysis section, examples of the inflections of the indicative moods and subjunctive moods are given. In the next stage , the verb is analyzed in terms of object and subject. In the second part of the thesis, the verb ver- is analyzed in terms of function. The verb, which is analyzed in terms of construction, aspect, and modal features, is explained by giving examples scan ned and identified from the Turkish used in Turkey today. In the last part of the thesis, the verb ver- is analyzed in terms of meaning. Semantic evaluation is made with the examples given from the Historical Eastern Turkish, contemporary Kazan Tatar Turkish and Chuvash Turkish. In the conclusion part, a general evaluation on the subject is carried out.
