Medical terms in the historical Kipchak Turkish

There are many works belonging to the Kipchak Turkish period. Linguists have included the works of Kipchak Turkish in various classifications according to their language characteristics, textual content and the region in which they were written. Medical terms have been discussed over different periods in different studies, periods have been examined separately from the point of view of medical terms, and recently it has become one of the important issues studied in different ways. The medical terms belonging to Kipchak Turkish have not yet been discussed in a separate study. In this study, we tried to examine the medical terms used in historical Kipchak Turkish. In this study, first of all, the question "What is the term?" the topic was mentioned, then the name of the Kipchaks, the history, language and literature of the Kipchaks, then information about Turkish medicine was given. Dictionaries and Grammar books belonging to the period were used to determine the medical terms used in Kipchak Turkish. Region names in medical terms this text in the body organ and disease-related terms (names of bodily illness, physical illness, actions, terms associated with mental illnesses), treatment-related terms (including other terms and is divided into 4 sections. The terms obtained were tried to be examined in terms of structure, meaning and origin, the terms were tried to be explained by scanning the sources dealing with the Old Turkish. In the conclusion section, an evaluation was made by explaining the remarkable features of the medical terms obtained.
