Essay on the conceptual area dictionary of historical Kipchak Turkish

Although the Turkish language dictionaries, whose first examples were given with the Divan-ı Lügati't Türk in the 11th century, are quite rich, the studies on these dictionaries and lexicography have increased in recent years. It is also in the same situation with the concept field dictionary studies dating back to quite old times. Concept domain dictionaries, which have many examples in historical Turkish languages, have not been studied sufficiently, and today there is no independent conceptual dictionary of historical Turkish languages or contemporary Turkish prepared with contemporary criteria. Based on this deficiency, in order to contribute to Turkish lexicography studies, it has been tried to create a conceptual dictionary of historical Kipchak Turkish by considering the vocabulary of historical Kipchak Turkish. Thesis; It consists of two main sections where concept, concept domain, concept domain dictionaries, Kipchak Turkish concept domain dictionaries and historical Kipchak Turkish concept domain dictionary experiment. The Codex Cumanicus, which was written in the northern part of the Black Sea has been extensively studied in our country in recent years and the Kipchak Turkish Dictionary which was created by scanning the literary Works, dictionaries, grammar boks, archery, horse riding and fiqh boks that remained relics from Mamluk State established in Egypt and Syria vocabulary forms the application material of the thesis. With the concept area dictionary that we prepared with a total of 17.000 words obtained from the two studies mentioned above, we tried to provide resources for the Turkish Language and Literature branch.
