Abstract (EN)
Generally speaking, the agricultural machinery sector is growing rapidly. Within the scope of this growth, one of the main elements of the sector becoming more efficient is that manufacturing companies must be able to reach the necessary technological level in terms of institutionality as well as manufacturing infrastructure. In addition, the working conditions of employees in the direct manufacturing part of the sector are an important element in increasing work efficiency and ensuring sustainable growth. In this study, it was aimed to examine the working environments of businesses manufacturing Agricultural Machinery in terms of their activities and to measure and evaluate physical risk factors. Based on this, noise, vibration, thermal comfort and lighting factors in the working environments of five enterprises operating in the agricultural machinery manufacturing sector in Adana were measured and evaluated. When the measurements made in enterprises operating in the agricultural machinery manufacturing sector are generally evaluated, it has been determined that the enterprises generally have suitable conditions in terms of occupational health and safety. However, it has been concluded that in these enterprises, it is necessary to take measures to eliminate the risk at its source and to use personal protective equipment, especially in order to reduce noise and not affect employees, and that taking measures to improve ventilation in terms of improving thermal comfort, considering the climatic conditions of the region, will increase working efficiency. Key Words: Agricultural Machinery, Manufacturing, Occupational Safety, Physical Risk Factors.
