Abstract (EN)

Industry 4.0 has led to a significant change in the structure of agricultural production as well as the production structure of each sector. This change and development increase the productivity of the agricultural sector and constitutes the new dynamic of growth and development in economy. Technology makes itself felt more and more in the agricultural sector. Progress in information and communication technologies increases the relative importance of agricultural production in the global economy by increasing productivity, earnings and quality in the agricultural sector. While world is rapidly adopting the post-Industry 4.0 period, it is aimed to increase the speed and efficiency by interacting the machines as the main component of agricultural production. At the same time, as a result of biotechnological studies, it becomes possible to meet the food demands of the increasing world population and to obtain products in all kinds of soil and climate conditions. With the advancing technology, the negative impact of the chemicals used in agriculture on the environment has been minimized and seeds suitable for climatic conditions have been produced in order to increase food safety. In this context, the aim of the study is to examine the effects of developments in agricultural technology on agriculture sector after Industry 4.0. In this study, the development and change of the agricultural sector is examined in terms of our country and the world economy and the transformations affecting agricultural production after Industry 4.0 are determined. The effect of these transformations on agricultural production level was examined by using information and communication technology variables. According to the results obtained, Industry 4.0, which is expressed by information and communication technology variables, has an effect on the agricultural sector.
