Abstract (EN)

Energy analyses is a fundamental approach in defining and classifying the agricultural production systems in terms of energy consumption level. In recent years, economics, energy consumption and environmental awareness are all together essential considerations which refer the sustainable agriculture concept in evaluating the agricultural production projects. The ratio between energy consumption per unit agricultural production area and having equilavent crop energy from same field is a good indication for how much the production is profitable. In this study, an internet based software, namely AgrEN_I/O v 1. 0 Beta, for energy input-output analyses for crop production was developed. Developed software was run for the first crop maize production in Çukurova region as an example.
