Abstract (EN)
Since the beginning of life, people have been engaged in many economic activities for the development and progress of their societies. The agricultural sector, which has been continuing since the first humanity, is one of the most important of these activities. In ancient times, agricultural activities were carried out near the water resources. The agricultural sector, which pioneered the formation of civilizations, was the main source of livelihood until 1900s. The development of industry and the abolition of travel quotas that countries apply to each other have led to the rapid growth of other sectors. Although agriculture is still one of the main areas of activity for human life, its share in the economy has been minimized. Our country is suitable for agriculture due to its geographical location and climatic conditions. While we were a self-sufficient society in the past, we export many products today. Determining the underlying causes and problems of this decline, and following the necessary measures and development studies will pull the sector out of intensive care. In this study, it would be wise to take a model of Dutch agriculture which is in the top ranks in the export of agricultural products in recent years. The use of technology and science in all areas of the agricultural sector, the existence of an organized production and marketing structure, and the transformation of limited production opportunities into positive results are among the main characteristics of Dutch agriculture. Reflecting these characteristics on our country will make agriculture a leading sector.
