Abstract (EN)
Because of increasing of environmental problems and possibility of depletion of fuels day by day, people are trying to find alternative energy sources. Fuel batteries with the characteristics of high efficiency up to %70, functioning in silence, being modular etc. have evolved with spreading use. This study shows the parameters effects on performance of PEM fuel battery which is the most suitable kind for being used in vehicles among fuel batteries. Before starting parametric studies two packet of aluminium and stainless steel material SS 316 fuel batteries have been designed with the use of nafion 115 membrane. After these processes a prototype has been developed with the aim of production of fuel batteries and implementing parametric studies. After the whole process mentioned above parameters like temperature, pressure and moisture which have effect on performance of fuel battery have been studied. In these experimental studies, for aluminium fuel battery the maximum 2,98 volt tension level; for stainless steel fuel battery the maximum 3,12 volt tension level have been reached. As a result of these experimental studies the parameters like temperature, pressure and moisture increase performance of fuel battery fairly.
