The language characteristics of Tatar riddles

Riddle is one of the most important genre of literature, that reflects the nation's lifestyle, it's world view, and the features of the language they use. İn our thesis titled 'The Language Characteristics of Tatar Riddles' we researched the general features of riddle, such is the emergence of riddle, the usage of riddle, classifacation issue. İn the second chapter we researched the language and structure characteristics of Tatar riddles. There is a few different theories about the emergence of riddles. But we know that the genre of riddles came from a very old time and it is possible to say that it still has a very popular position in our life. As any other genre of literature, the riddle have a few classification types. For example, the riddles in verse have place in majority among the Tatar riddles. From the point of topics and forms, language features and the words used in riddles, it is possible to say that Tatar riddles are very different. Moreover, there is many identical and similar examples among Tatar and Turkish riddles. Key words: riddle, Tatar riddles, examples of riddles.
