Abstract (EN)
In this study, black gill disease in widely distributed crayfish (Astacus leptodactylus) populations in Turkey's ponds, rivers and lakes was researched. Crayfish samples were collected from 6 different locations for identification of fungus Fusarium oxysporum associated with black gill disease. Samples were brought to laboratory and examined, tissue samples were taken and cultured on PDA medium from crayfish that showed black gill disease symptoms. DNAs were extracted from the isolates of fungi grew on petri dishes. Target gene part was amplified by PCR with primers used for identification of Fusarium oxysporum and then amplicons were sequenced. As a result black gill disease was detected in crayfish populations of Beyşehir lake, Gölhisar lake, Karaidemir dam lake, Karataş lake, Manyas lake and Taşkısığı lake, and Fusarium oxysporum was identified.
