Use of medicinal aromatic plants in landscape architecture

Although medicinal and aromatic plants have many uses, the place and importance of these plants in landscape architecture has not been fully explained. In line with the purpose of this study, information was given about medicinal and aromatic plants, their areas of use in landscape designs were determined, and the application of a garden of medicinal and aromatic plants in the greenhouse of Çankırı Karatekin University was based on raising awareness of both university students and local people about these plants.The benefits of these plants used in landscape architecture should be considered. In this context, the content of the study was created by examining various sources in the literature, and the medicinal and aromatic garden examples in Turkey were evaluated. As a result, Turkey has a great importance within the scope of growing medicinal and aromatic plants.
