Abstract (EN)

Solid waste problem is one of the significant environmental problems of the world. Classification of solid wastes can be done in different ways. The harmful and infectious products of medical processes produced from medical facilities (i.e., hospitals, village clinics) are called medical wastes. Medical wastes must be appositely collected, transported and eliminated for human and environment health. The common medical waste elimination methods are incineration, storage and new technologies like thermal detoxification. It?s important to choose which technology will be used to eliminate medical wastes carefully. In this work, firstly, it has been referred to solid wastes and solid waste management, then, medical waste which is a kind of solid wastes and technologies which can be used to eliminate medical wastes have been explained with details. In the continuation of the work, in a view of the fact that a good number of factors about medical wastes, criteria have been determined and a hierarchical construction has been built. Computations have been done by using Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process in terms of reflection ambiguity and uncertainty of the real world and a result has been obtained. Then, connections which are between criteria have been considered and a network construction has been built for the problem. A new result has been obtained by using Analytical Network Process. In the end of the work, the results that have been obtained are compared and commented. Keywords: Solid wastes, solid waste management, medical wastes, elimination technologies, fuzzy analytical hierarchy process, fuzzy analytical network process.
