İçel political activities (1961-1970)

The subject of this study was the political activities of İçel deputies in 1961 – 1970. Before entering the subject, the political process in the country was briefly explained. With the declaration of the Rebuclic, which can be called the sovereignty of the nation, the self – governance process of the Turkish nation has begun. How this creates the process of managing and the phases it undergoes are briefly mentioned. Recarding the subject such as parliament , political party(s) and electoral systems, which are the sine qua non of the Republican regime, it has been given brief information in chronological order by adhering to the historical process. Between the years 1961 – 1970, we have been working in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, XII, XIII, XIV. (MMI., MMII., MMIII.,) in the period , deputies from İçel were elected as members of the parliament and their works in the parliament were examined and their contributions to the country in general and locally to İçel were examined. İn accordance with the chronological order of this review, the activities of the deputies were evaluated in terms of periods by evaluating each legislative period. The biographies of the MPs were examined and their personal information such as their ages, proffessions and educational backgrounds were evaluated. The political activities they carried out in the Assembly were examined and presented as a summary.
