Abstract (EN)

Supply chain management is gaining more importance and validity every day. Competition has increased thanks to the differences in customer demands and developing technology. With the introduction of the concept of competition into our lives, the concept of supply chain has become a chain that allows many businesses to participate. Businesses that want to be able to track up-to-date information, to be able to stand up to competitive conditions, have entered into a search to meet the customer's demands and to continue this at a minimum cost. The most important tool that can be used to achieve this goal is stock management. If we want to get a good efficiency from inventory management, a balanced inventory should be kept according to the goals and wishes of the enterprise. In the first part of the thesis, the concepts of supply chain and management are discussed in detail. A general description of the supply chain process has been made and detailed information has been given about its development so far. In the second part, the general definition of inventory and inventory management is discussed and information is given. Finally, the relationship with the supply chain has been evaluated and the issue has been completed. In the application part of the thesis, the questions to be directed to the companies in the furniture sector were determined and the analysis of the companies' feedbacks was carried out. As a result of the incoming analyses, it is aimed to meet at a denominator.
