Abstract (EN)
Supply Chain Management is a system, which contains suppliers, logistical service providers, manufacturers, distributors, retailers and the system obtains material, product and information flow between these concepts.The basic objects of supply chain management are, increasing customer satisfactions, decreasing stock costs, decreasing the faults of products and the decreasing of activity costs.There are 4 main facts of supply chain management.These are: logistic, inventory, production activities and information.The supply chain management processes start with consist of material and development process and continue order winning process, manufacture planning process, supplying process, distributing process and at the last sale process.On the basis of increasing demands of natural gas in last 10 years, the heat sector in Turkey has developed fastly and the sector has become a big market. In this market there are many companies, which get their portions from the market. Viessmann A.Ş company has started it?s activities in Turkey 15 years ago by selling many kinds of Viessmann boilers. The product range categorised according to technology, offers the right solution for every demand and every budget. And everything from one source, with perfectly matching system components. In order to create material supply control system, Viessmann A.Ş company has started to work with SAP system. This system helps to organize the supply chain processes.
