Abstract (EN)

Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems are among high-end technologies of today.AI, reshapes Supply Chain Management (SCM) indurstry and its sub-industries including logistics, transportation, port management, customs brokerage, international commercial and insurance. This thesis is focusing on effective methods of brining AI systems with SCM networks in markets where industries are under heavy pressure by global competition and risk of sustainable profitability. This research aims to explain the methods of building effective distribution networks, engaging effective communication with customers, composing autonomous intelligent systems by using AI and AI supported technologies. It is fundamental to understand how human intellect & brain works to deeply understand how AI works. We have to understand the principles of neocortex and how it deploys data in usage of consicious and shapes our logic. It is vital to know how brain cells relay interactivity between eachother while transmiting information within neural networks. AI simulates human brain at all stages from modelling data recording, decision makining and information processing. AI is influenced by and in relation with neurology, anthropology, mathematics, philosopy in order to develop sophisticated, cognitive digital solutions which will work. The functions of human brain and its functionality deeply reviewed in this study. This thesis aims to prove its hypotheses by going through the terms and definitions of Supply Chain Management perception indicating the primary and secondary industries related to SCM family. AI, Machine Learning, Algorithms, Robotics and their relations with the SCM industry is the major subject of this research.
