Abstract (EN)

The graphic design field, which has a very important place in our country as in the world, has gained importance in the field of education, and has gained a wide education structure from secondary education to university. Of graphic arts education process in Turkey it is known to extend to the Ottoman period. However, the historical process of vocational education at high school level is very recent. In 2005, the Ministry of National Education decided to provide graphics education in vocational and technical high schools under the name of Graphics and Photography Area. However, in some high schools in Turkey 10, 11, it has been given an intensive students in the 12th grade level graphics technique training. In this study, it is aimed to examine the development and change processes of the graphic and photography field in technical high schools between 2010 and 2020, depending on the historical development of the graphic design field in our country. Based on the previous studies for this research, statistical data were created in the light of the information and data obtained from the Ministry of National Education. As a result, the development and change process of the graphic and photography field in technical high schools was tried to be examined.
