Within the context of this study, contribution of the conducting technology and design lessons projects educated in the elementary schools of Turkey within a web based project to those projects developed during the lessons, to technology and design lessons and to our country. Project management model currently implied in technology and design lessons, is realized by one by one communication between the teacher and the student during the lesson. Disadvantages of this system are analyses by interviewing with the teachers and the students of technology and design lesson. In order to eliminate disadvantages determined as much as possible, a web based project management system has been developed. This management system is designed for managing only those projects taking part in technology and design lessons. As the results of the usability tests conducted, it is proved that, web based project management system can be used by the students and the teachers. By using a system prepared within this context, it is thought that the aimed results can be reached. In addition to that, it shall have contributions to our country in project development and innovation processes.
