Abstract (EN)

Due to the negative attitude to wards women's work, women have been confined to mother hood and housework since ancient times. The change that began with the need for women's labour force after the industrial revolution continued as a result of increasing participation of women in working life in the world where globalization has changed. With the development of technology, the perception that women are technophobicand men are better in using technological tools, the impact of technology on female employment has aroused interest in theliterature. In this context, the effects of R & D spending, high-tech patent applications, and Internet users used tore present technology in the study, on the employment of women between the years 2000-2015 were examined for EU countries and Turkey. Starting from the fact that the impact of technological developments on female employment is a dynamic phenomenon, two-stagesystem GMM, one of thedynamic panel data analysis estimates, is used as a method. According to the analys is results, all three variables used to represent technology positively affect women's employment in EU countries and Turkey. Technological developments are thought to be a concrete opportunity to over come gendere quality challenges in countries.
