Abstract (EN)
ABSTRACTToday, rapid technological developments and changes have affected theorganizations dramatically. Fast produced informations and technology has broughtdifferentiations and comlexity to the human demands and preferences. In theglobalized world, the enterprizes that want to survive and develope themselves haveto follow the technological developments closely and employ the personnels that canuse this technology.In contemporary management concept, the offices undertake the part of thebrain in any organization. The offices that keep,process, present and store every kindof datas and informations, needed by the managers, have to use the officemanagement systems effectively and productively in order to conduct these activitiesparalel to the developing technology.In this study; the concepts of technology, information,informatics, office andproductivity are emphasized and the concepts of office automation, efficiency andproductivity in the offices are introduced, besides some informations are given aboutthe management of office productivity.In the end of this study there is a questionnaire applied on the officepersonnels working for both public and private sectors in Ankara.
