Özet (EN)
The use of textile dyes has big importance in industry. But discharge of these dyes to the environment has caused important environmental problems. The first part of this study, 4 different surfactants were synthesized and they modified onto bentonite clay. The second part of the study, sorption of Sirius Blue and Indigo Carmin dyes onto bentonite which were modified with 16-6-16, 14-6-14, 12-6-12 ve 8-6-8 gemini surfactants was investigated. The influence of temperature (30, 40, 50 oC), initial pH values (between pH 1-9), initial concentration (25, 50, 75, 100, 150 and 250 mg/L), agitation time (10, 20, 30, 45 ve 60 dk) and adsorbant cencentration (0,1, 0,2, 0,5 g/ 50mL) were studied. Kinetic study, based on agitation time parameter for removal of Sirius Blue and Indigo Carmin dyes from solutions by modified bentonite, was also performed. The optimum conditions were determined for both dyes.In this study, it is observed that the best results were taken with modified bentonite 12-6-12 for Sirius blue and 12-6-12 and 14-6-14 for Indigo Carmin.
