Abstract (EN)
In this study, the color removal of Reactive Black 5 (RB5) dyestuff, which is widely used in textile industry dyeing processes, was investigated. For this, ozonation and photooxidation (ozonation + UV) methods which are advanced oxidation methods were used and the obtained datas were evaluated. In addition, the main factors such as pH, ozone dose, initial dye concentration were investigated. Based on the data obtained in the study, mathematical models have been developed to estimate the removal of dyes in ozonation and ozonation + UV processes. 95% confidence level pH-contact time, dyestuff-contact time and ozone doze-contact time variables and dyestuff removal estimation models were established.
