Abstract (EN)
The conceptual meaning of occupational health and safety includes the elimination of hazards in the workplace, the foreseeable assessment of risks, the complete elimination of risks or the minimization of damages. In this study, the importance of occupational health and safety and the purpose of risk assessment are discussed. The risk assessment was carried out at a workplace in the textile sector. The possible dangers in the workplace were determined and the risk assessment performed by using the L type (5x5) matrix method.
