Textile design production and designer profile

The aim of this research is; design producing process in textile sector, usage of computer design programmes and the prophiles of the designers in this sector. Design process in textile sector,importance and properties of design programmes which are used in this sector, detecting the usage ares and how they are used are substentious for the related sectors and the ones who are intersted in the theme. Defining the education prophiles, deficient parts of the educations of the peole who are working in the design departmants is substentious for the related education corporations's configuration studies. Define is exhibiting scanning model of the existing situation. The businness enterprises which use this programmes except clothing and mould design, advantages and disadvantages of these programmes and the prophiles of the designers are defined.The questions that are prepared in the direction of the aims were made anquestionnaire, and the answers of this questionnaire were tabled and analysed.In the direction of these research İt's seen that the most used programme is Ned graphics. This programme is prefered mostly because of easy usage and solving problems. It is deined that young designers who are graduated from fine Arts Faculties have difficulties because of the non accomodaiton between school and industry.It is needed to define the qualifiedness of designers should have and arrange and update the education programmes. We should consider the computer supported programmes more than before.To follow the developing in the sector, shool and indusrty cooperatine must be considered much more for the design students to follow the developings and see the expectations better in the sector.
