Television visualisation and human brain

In this study, the relationship between TV visualisation and human brain will be analyzed. The television is structurally limited both by technology and human brain. Today technological improvements are very fast and TV broadcasting has a big experience. Television became a big power with the increase of the watching durations far more than the expectations. Scientific researches have proved that human brain doesn?t have an unalterable functioning, but that it can change in some particular conditions. Television had been structured according to the given functioning of the human brain and broadcasting rules were determined on this basis, but today it breaks down those rules. In one side, the technological limits of the television are being continuously extended and in the other side, television extends the limits imposed by the human mental processes by modifying the minds of its audience. Television modifies human nature not only by the content, but merely with its visualisation. The results created by such modifications have been exposed by scientific studies, some critical approaches are being developed and measures applied. But the harms given by the television are only partially evaluated. The common understanding treats the human behaviour, spirit and body as if they are not part of the totality of the human being and assumes that modifications on those aspects don?t change human mind itself. The critics provided by opponent approaches remain between the boundaries of the said common understanding and measures based on such critics offer similarly insufficient solutions. Measures like media literacy, protective symbols etc? suggest that knowing even partially the harms could prevent individuals. The common understanding hides the principal harm caused by television by reducing it to broadcast content. It can be said that television would continue to harm human brain/mind and consequently human health as a whole. It is obvious that this would create important social consequences. This study tries to offer a visual approach to television, which was structured on the basis of human mental processes but which is now developing against human nature.
