Tennûrîzâde and his book named Hediyyetü'l-Fukarâ (investigation-text)

This thesis consists of introduction, four main chapters and the conclusion. In the introduction part, ıt was mentioned the importance, reasons, purpose, method of the study and definition of the resources of the thesis. In the first chapter ıt was emphasized the concept of menkabe, the historical development of menâkıbnames, theirs features and kinds by giving information about the Turkish and Islamic world it is also underlined the importance of menâkıbnâmes in the history of Sufism In the second part after giving information about the life of Tennûrizâde Mustafa b. Sun'ullâh and about ''Hediyyetü'l-Fukarâ'' which is his only known work, the physical features of the manuscript studied were introduced and then its content and the menâkıbs which were mentioned in the book were examined. In the third part, some sufistic concepts which were mentioned in the manuscript have been examined. After making the definitions of the concepts we have exanined and adding the comments of the Sufis, it was underlined the meanings that Tennûrizâde had attributed to concepts. In the fourth part, by giving the transcription letters used in the text it was said the methods followed while creating the text and the translation text of the leafs of the text numbered as 1b-36a has been given. As a result, it has been determined that ''Hediyyetü'l-Fukarâ'' is a work of the type of legend that contains sufi conceptes and terms.
