Socio-economic life in jurisdiction of şiran according to tereke records (1893-1911)

Tereke records wich can be found in court records, has an importance to ‎enlightenment of social and cultural life. Those records includes the deceased person's ‎debt and receivables, chattel, premises and mehir wich has an importance to evaluating ‎the social and cultural life. İn this work 124 tereke records evaluated between the time ‎span 1839 to 1910 wich in the 8191 and 8192 numbered court records. ‎ The thesis work consist of prolouge and three sections. İn the prolouge section ‎the aim, method and scope of the thesis clarified. Than in the first chapter informations ‎on court and tereke records, the creating method of them, the legal inheritents and ‎jurisdiction of Şiran exhibited. The second chapter, the names, dwellings, titles, ‎cognomens and marital status, heirs and Works of the deceased person extracted from ‎the 124 records wich recorded 1893-1911. İn the third chapter, the total assets of the ‎deceased, including chattel and premises examined and evaluated the social and ‎economic life of the Şiran.‎ Key Words: Court Records, Tereke Records, Şiran.‎
