Özet (EN)

In this thesis, it was aimed to investigate the effects of two different hardenable bone grafts on the primary stability of the implant and the temperature changes in the bone in-vitro. In our study, dead bovine rib bones were used. A dental implant socket is created on the bones. Subsequently, bone defects of equal size were created around this osteotomy area and dental implants were placed. At this stage, 2 different groups were formed and the defects were filled with bone graft containing tetra calcium phosphate in group 1 and biphasic calcium sulfate in group 2. The temperature values that emerged during the hardening of the bone graft were recorded. Primary stability values were recorded before and 200 min after grafting. An average increase in bone temperature of 3.35⁰C and an average increase in implant primary stability of 52.69 ISQ were observed in the group using bone graft containing tetra calcium phosphate. In the group using biphasic calcium sulfate-containing bone grafts, an average of 0.87⁰C increase in bone temperature and an average of 36.26 ISQ increase in implant primary stability were observed. However, no increase in temperature exceeding 47 ˚C, which is the critical value for bone necrosis, was observed in any group. It was observed that bone graft containing tetra calcium phosphate gave higher results in increasing primary stability.
