The theme of struggle for power in Shakespeare's Macbeth and Hamlet interms of leadership

In the sixteenth century , as the English Language gained importance ,there appeared many successful writers.William Shakespeare is one of the famous playwrights whose plays have been updated to our time.The aim of this thesis is to present the theme of struggle for power interms of leadership in Shakespeare?s most appreciated plays Macbeth and Hamlet.The thesis consists of an introduction ,two main chapters and a conclusion.The fırst part deals with the rhetoric of plays as the passion for power to undermine and devalue life is ,moreover,not simply presented as an external force distorting action ; it eats also into the minds of those who act and fight ,compromising their thinking no less than their doing.The second part includes the study of the summaries of the plays and analysis of major characters. The conclusion drawn from this study is to show the relationship between ambition for power and leadership and its writer?s power of observation.On altıncı yüzyılda İngiliz dili önem kazanmaya başlayınca birçok başarılı yazar ortaya çıktı.Eserlerinin çoğu günümüze uyarlanan önemli bu yazarlardan bir tanesi de William Shakespeare?dir.Bu tezin amacı , Shakespeare?in en çok beğenilen eserlerinden Macbeth ve Hamlet oyunlarındaki güç için savaş temasını liderlik açısından ele almaktır.Bu tez bir giriş,iki esas ve bir de sonuç bölümünden oluşmaktadır.Birinci bölümde yazar ve oyunlardan bahsedilmektedir. İkinci bölümde oyunların özetin ve ana karakterlerin güç için diğerlerini nasıl alt üst ettiğinden ayrıca liderlik özellikleri bakımından da karşılaştırılmaları ele alınmıştır.Bu çalışmadan çıkarılacak sonuç , güç elde edebilmek için hırs ,tutku ve liderlik olgusunun arasındaki ilişkinin önemi ve yazarının gözlem gücüdür.
