The problem of metaphysics by Theodor W. Adorno

The aim of this thesis is to reveal the metaphysics formed by Adorno's way of thinking. The first chapter of the thesis has been prepared in order to get an idea about the concept of metaphysics. The second chapter was created to obtain information about the period in which Adorno's way of thinking was formed and the environment that influenced it. In the third chapter, the main metaphysical problems were examined in line with Adorno's criticisms. The views of the main philosophers on metaphysics such as Aristotle, Descartes, Locke, Bacon, Kant, Hegel, Husserl and Heidegger were examined. In the history of thinking, the relations between metaphysics and the way of thinking have been examined. The relationship between reality and metaphysics has been revealed. In the fourth chapter, Adorno's way of thinking is revealed. The importance of the difference between criticism and critical thinking is discussed. The relationship between the concept of negative dialectic and critical thinking has been examined. Concepts reinterpreted in Adorno's way of thinking are emphasized. In the last chapter, the metaphysics formed by Adorno's way of thinking will be tried to be revealed.
