The subject of the thesis reveals a poet from the modern era, and what the poet used of Quranic intertextuality in his poetry. The poets have previously used Quranic intertextuality from the Islamic era, from the poet of the Prophet, may God's prayers and peace be upon him, Hassan bin Thabit, may God be pleased with him, to this day, and Al-Atrakji is an Islamic poet of Mosul poets. In this study, the researcher dealt with the analytical method of AlAtrakji's poetry, and found him writing in column poetry, free poetry, and many topics, and because of his frequent readings, and because of his conservative upbringing and religious orientation, the Qur'anic intertextuality had an abundant share in his poetry. Intertextuality abounded in his poetry, or what was previously called quoting from the Holy Qur'an. Sometimes the intertextuality is direct, sometimes it is indirect, and sometimes the absent text or the dissolution, which are three types that I adopted in the research (rumination, absorption, and dialogue) i.e. direct, indirect, and absent text. Al-Atrakji's poetry contains a mixture of meanings and expressions. The poet in his poetry is sometimes modern and sometimes old, and sometimes Abbasi, and sometimes hijri, sometimes symbolic, and sometimes realistic, and sometimes he renews all the novelty and sometimes imitates all the tradition, and at the same time he says vertical poetry and sometimes he mixes it with free poetry Keywords: intertextuality at the beginning of the road, the stage of wandering, repentance, rumination, absorption, dialogue, Dhnoon al-Atrakji.
