Özet (EN)

In this study, it was aimed to produce and characterize TiB2 reinforced aluminum matrix composites and functionally graded materials (FGM) by pressureless sintering and hot pressing methods. For this purpose, aluminum matrix composites containing 2,5-45 vol% TiB2 reinforcement were produced by hot press and pressureless sintering methods. The effects of production methods and different reinforcement ratios on microstructure and mechanical properties were investigated. As a result of the experiments, it was observed that the bending strength and microhardness values increased with TiB2 reinforcement. The highest microhardness value was measured as 181,1 HV0,1 in the layer containing 45% reinforcement. The average microhardness value of the samples without reinforcement was 60 HV0,1 and the bending strength value was 350 MPa. The best average values were observed in sample F-SCP-IN-5-10-15-2. The bending strength of this sample was 448.7 MPa, strain at the maximum stress was 13.8% and the density value was 94.6% of theoretical density.
