Abstract (EN)

Commercial entities subject to credit are subject to different credit evaluation techniques. The different types of loan valuation techniques of commercial banks are to measure the repayment capabilities of the businesses that request the basic purpose commercial credit in their applications. Credit evaluation activities and applications contribute to the development of financial institutions' risk as well as to the development of commercial firms which demand credit. In this study, data were collected from the decision makers conducting commercial credit rating processes in the banks of the Bartın city center. Based on the data obtained, prioritization of the credit evaluation criteria was made using AHP technique; then this information was used in multiple case studies with TOPSIS, a multi-criteria decision technique, after the credit assessors' decision priorities were determined.
