Aqqoyunlus and Qaraqoyunlus in the Near-Eastern politics of the Timurids (Azerbaijan, Iraq, Anatolia, Syria and Georgia)

Due to the enmity of the Aqqoyunlus and the Qaraqoyunlus, called "adavet-i kadîme" in the academic community, their struggles with each other were generally kept in the foreground, and their relations with the Timurids could not be examined in a complete integrity. In this study, the struggles of the Timurids, Aqqoyunlus and Qaraqoyunlus with each other and their results, especially their activities in the geography of Azerbaijan and Eastern Anatolia, are discussed in the light of the sources of the period. The relations of these three states, which have managed to make a name for themselves, are examined from a different perspective, taking into account the current political conditions and understanding of domination.
