Abstract (EN)
Top of the chronic disease mostly seen in childhood and adolescence time is insulin dependent Type 1 diabetes mellitus (Type 1 DM). Type 1 DM is basically a disease characterized by cell ruin and lack of insulin. Although it is encountered in all ages, it is noted that Type 1 diabetes frequency raies and while its starting age was adolescence age, its starting age is now seen to shift 5-7 ages due to the viral-infections, factors depending on nourishing, toxins, and stress-like environmental reasons. It is known that, Pre-Diagnosis and satisfying the glisemic control can protect or delay many of the complications.HbA1c is assumed to be the golden standard in the evaluation of the long-time glisemic control in diabetic patients. Therefore determination of some of the socio-demographic, socio-economic, and psychosocial factors affecting HbA1c provides positive contributions in long-time control and treatment of the diabetes. In our study, it is investigated that the effect of sex, age, educational background, economical state, duration of diabetes, physical exercise, diabetes education, family relations, traumatic events, and the perception of the patients for chronic disease on HbA1c. According to our investigations: socio-demographic properties such as sex, age, educational background of the patients, social structure of the patients' family, educational background of the parents and duration of Type 1 DM of the disease, educational state about the disease, physical exercises frequency, fast-food habit, diabetes story, living a traumatic events, family economic level and the perception of psychological health before the disease have no effects on HbA1c levels. However, there a remarkable relation is determined between the HbA1c and periodic polyclinics controls, another disease except the DM and economical bottle neck for paying the treatment costs.
