As a result of the research, the general comfort score of the patients was found to be 138.37±16.10 and the comfort score to be 2.88. Educational status of the patients participating in the study, family type, type of diabetes treatment, diabetes-related complications, hypertension, heart disease, stroke, amputation, frequent blood glucose measurement, insulin injection, stroke, drug use related to additional disease, stress A significant correlation was found between the level of sleep, sleep pattern, coping status, age, duration of diabetes and the number of drugs used and GCS (p<0.05). It was determined that the modified Charlson Comorbidity Index Score predicted the GCS. As a result of the research, it was determined that the comfort level of patients with type 2 diabetes was determined by the sociodemographic variable of education and family type; It was determined that complications related to the disease, invasive interventions such as blood glucose measurement, insulin administration, and variables related to daily activities such as sleep and stress were affected.
