Abstract (EN)

The Holy Quran is the word of Allah and therefore differs from other manuscripts the main principle of this study is to examine the decorative features of the Holy Quran. Thus it is to reveal its difference with other manuscripts. This study includes the comparison of the illumination of NP/672, NP/674, NP/675 and other NP/394, NP/392, NP/391 in Tire Necippaşa Library. These manuscripts in the Tire Necippaşa Library have rich illumination. For this reason, they were preferred in this study. This comparison yielded the following. There are too many differences in content between the two groups. On the other hand, there is little difference between the two groups in terms of motif and pattern charcteristics. For example, "serlevha" and "presentation page" are examples of content differences. In addition, the "ketebe" and "hâtîme page" illuminations are the same. The main characteristics of these two groups are "Mushaf roses". "Mushaf roses" are only gildings of the Quran. That is other manuscripts do not have "Mushaf roses".
