Abstract (EN)

This study was performed in 2017 at the District of Erbaa, in the Province of Tokat, to determine the effects of different irrigation intervals on the yield and quality of drip-irrigated peanut crops. The research was conducted in the experimental design of randomized blocks in three repeats. During the experiment, 4 different irrigation intervals (were applied, S0: Non-irrigated, S1: 5-day interval, S2: 10-day interval, and S3:15-day). The reference evapotranspiration (ETo) was calculated using the FAO Penman-Monteith method and found to be 678.96 mm/growing season. The crop evapotranspiration (ETc) values varied between 160.34 and 538.55 mm/growing season. As a result of the experiment, the yield values varied as follows: amount of peanut grains from 23.66 to 248.23 kg, number of pods per crop from 7.3 to 26.2 piece, pod yield per decare from 70 to 386.66 kg, weight of 100 grains from 72.19 to 101.21 g, oil rate from 44.78% to 58.69%, and protein rate from 13.05% to 18.99%. In addition, has been found that the grain diameters varied between 11 and 9 mm in the irrigated blocks and that the grain diameters were below 5.5 mm or no grains had developed in the non-irrigated blocks. As a result, it was found that irrigation intervals did not have a statistically significant effect on the experimental results except non – irrigated subject, although peanut yield values improved as irrigation interval narrowed.
