Abstract (EN)
In this study, first aid knowledge level and first aid attitudes (self-efficacy) of employees in businesses that meet the definition of SME were investigated. The aim is to draw a conclusion about the knowledge of the employees about first aid and their courage in case of first aid application, and to compare the situation of the employees in the SMEs around the world, especially the SMEs in the country, on the issue of first aid. According to the results of the study, it is to instill first aid awareness in employees and to encourage first aid training. In the study, a voluntary survey was applied to the employees of SMEs located in the city center of Tokat. 68 people participated in the study, statistical processes were applied to the data obtained in SPSS 22 and Microsoft Excel 2016 software. The first place to look in the study is the difference between employees who receive training (first aid) and those who do not (first aid). In the results obtained; The scores of the employees who have received education are higher than the scores of those who do not have education, the scores of men are higher than the scores of women, the scores of people between the ages of 36-46 are lower, the scores of singles are higher than those of married people, the scores of those who have graduate education are higher than the scores of others, 6-10 years have higher scores, those who have received first aid training in 2017 and later have higher scores, and those who have received first aid training from institutions under the Ministry of National Education have higher scores. In general, the average score in the first aid information form was calculated as 50.33, with the highest score being 87.5. In the self-efficacy form, the average score was calculated as 62.72, and the highest score was 96. The study will reveal the situation of first aid workers in the enterprises in our country, and perhaps add new results to the literature.
