İn this study we aimed comparing the bacterias that have been ısolated from bacterial food poisining in the Center of Tokat provience from the aspect of medical microbiology and food microbiology. For this purpose, 1054 patients who applied to the university hospital and state hospital in the city center with a preliminary diagnosis of bacterial food poisoning between 2015-2020 and 104 food samples examined as poisoning samples in the food control laboratory in the same years, were retrospectively analyzed. It has been observed that most of the bacterial food poisining is in women with 52.8% (n=556) and in the 10-19 age group with 34.8% (n=367). When the culture results of the cases are evaluated Salmonella spp., E. coli and S. aureus were determined to be isolated. It was determined that 22 of 104 food samples had growth and Salmonella spp., E. coli, B. cereus and S. aureus were isolated, respectively. There was no reproduction in the food samples of the 2016 outbreak. In the food samples 2019 outbreak, B. cereus, E. coli, S. aureus and Salmonella spp. were isolated and it was found to be compatible with the culture results performed at the hospital this year.
