Abstract (EN)

The research was established in order to determine the effects of different nitrogen doses on yield and quality of some bread wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) cultivars in Gaziosmanpaşa University Agricultural Research and Application Center, in 2015-2016 year. Field trials were established with 3 replications according to the experimental design "Split Plots in Random Blocks". Nitrogen doses (0, 4, 8, 12, 16, 20 kg N/da) were applied to the main plots, cultivars were applied to the sub-plots (Aldane, Kate A1, Konya 2002, Nacibey, Pehlivan). Heading and maturity time, plant height, spike number of per m2, spike length, grain yield of per spike, grain number of per spike, total yield, grain yield, 1000-grain weight, hectoliter weightprotein content and zelenity sedimentation value were investigated in this study. While the effect of nitrogen doses on heading time, grain yield of per spike, protein rate, sedimentation value, hectolitre weight were found to be insignificant, the effect on other characteristics was found to be significant. It was also determined that NxÇ interaction of spike number of per m2 and 1000-grain weight had significant. In the study, it was determined that there were significant differences among the varieties in terms of examined properties except heading time and spike length. The highest grain yield among nitrogen doses and cultivars were obtained by 8 kg N/da and cultivar Nacibey as 332.3 and 357.1 kg/da, respectively.
