Determination of the relationship between total qualitymanagement and firm performance: A research on theconstruction chemicals sector and plaster in the centralanatolia region

With globalization, increasing competition conditions necessitated companies to pay attention to quality-oriented practices. The main reasons for quality-oriented applications and therefore quality management include factors such as improving the firm's competitiveness, ensuring customer satisfaction, increasing profitability and, of course, ensuring continuity of firm presence. Total Quality Management is an integrated management system designed to improve the processes in which the company produces its products or services, and to meet customer expectations as well as to increase the quality of products and services. In this study, it was aimed to determine the effects of total quality management practices on firm performance and firm performance. In line with this objective, a research was carried out a case study on the Central Anatolia companies operating in the construction chemicals and gypsum sector and carrying out total quality oriented applications. The primary data from the study were analyzed with the help of the SPSS 22.0 statistical package program. Analysis of data; the four dimensions of Total Quality Management (Focus, Reward and Design, Leadership and Training, Supplier Management and Employee Involvement) and it has been found that there is a relationship between firm performance.
