A research on applicability of total quality management in anatolian teaching schools: Trabzon study

The general aim of this search is to examine the success of total quality management applications that being applied at Trabzon Province Anatolian Teaching High Schools which under the directorate of National Education Ministery Teacher Tranining and Education General Management and to determine the satisfaction of the participants.The universe of the search composes of Anatolian High Schools that graduated sudents in 2009-2010. The sample of the search consist of Anatolian High Schools in Trabzon Province.The data collected from questionaries are the data source of the search. The questions prepared according to the aim of the search applied to the shareholders. Questionaires were applied to the workers out of lesson time and to students at the lesson and to parents at the parents? meeting, to public at the working hours.The answers of the valid questionaries were analysed in the SPSS program at the computerThe data gained from the search groups are demonstrated as frequencies and percentages at the tables. The quintet Likert Scale, changing from 5 to 1, is used for answering and evaluating questionaries . Ki-Kare Method is used to determine the relationship among multiple groups in that standart deviation have been calculated and for the arithmetic means of questionaries in that quintet scale applied; t-test is applied for determine the difference of arithmetic means of paired groups, one way variance analysis (Anova) is applied in multiple groups. 0.05 reliability level is based for the averages. It is determined that the pleasure of school shareholders applying total quality management changes according to sex, age, status and seniority and pleasure increasing problem solving proposals are presented.
