Point Merge System and its applicaiton at Ankara Esenboğa airport

A certain standard of the air traffic services across the country and increasing air traffic in the world and has become inevitable, especially given the quality. Be given a certain standard of service, it is not possible with the currently used method. The traffic, take a standard service, continuous descent to reach the final approach fix, to speak as little as possible on the number and frequency holding time as little as possible will ensure standardization and quality. For this purpose, Point Merge System which is being developed in recent years, Ankara Esenboga Airport (LTAC) approach for runway 21 has been applied. The live traffic ,which is controlled with traditional methods, is used for the simulation data of the traffic designed with the usage of Point Merge System, which tested by air traffic controllers. At the end, the results were obtained in a conventional method by comparing Point Merge System application.
