Abstract (EN)
Crawling glazes, are among the artistic glazes. These glazes pull out on the surface during firing creating veins and isles and letting the glaze or clay underneath to be seen. Crawling glazes, as other artistic glazes, have gained importance with the increase of artistic work crawling glazes enrich the artistic value of the ceramic work they are applied on. The most important features of the artistic glazes are their texture and colour features. The Research of Application of Crawling Glazes on Ceramic Forms and Surfaces consists of three parts. In the first section, the definition and the classification of artistic ceramic glazes, the definition of crawling glazes and their general characteristic and the characteristics of raw materials used in crawling glazes are given. In the second section samples of the national and international artists working on crawling glaze are given. In the third chapter, the study is concluded with crawling glaze recipes and unique practices. Keywords Ceramic, Form, Crawling Glaze
