Abstract (EN)

Population is growing dramatically because of reasons such as migration, increase of birth, increase of life expentancy. Rapid population growth cause settelements and transportation networks to expand and use of public transport vehicles increased. After the public transportation became more popular, new technology and engineering solution ( ergonomics of driver and passenger, quality, noise and vibration levels etc.) that apply on these car are getting more important for manufacturers which challenge each other with research and development activities. In this study, several numerical analysis were applied on engine cradle which designed by BMC including analytical solution of engine cradle, static analysis by using finite elements method, modal analysis, dynamic analysis. MATLAB solution was obtained by preparing simple mathematical model. Experimental testing was implemented on engine cradle. Obtained analysis results were compared with test data and verified that structure is durable under the load. This simulation model and solutions was created with NASTRAN Solver in NX Software.
