An analysis on the determination of building program data in community mental health center (CMHC)

This study aimes to determine the program datas ,which are area, capacity, function flow, organization and equipment inputs, of community mental health centers which became operational with the guidelines published in Turkey in 2011, by using KSD methods. It is intended to create infrastructure for TRSM buildings to be designed in future periods by adding the findings and results to the data pool. In the scope of the study, 11 TRSMs were examined throughly in Antalya, Mersin, Gaziantep, Kilis, and physical and administrative data were analyzed through making program expansions of in these TRSM's spaces. The ratio of meeting needs in the program data specified regarding the obtained findings were synthesized with user opinions. Ultimately, this data has been generalized by inductive method. As a result, minimum space - capacity correlations, space layouts and equipment requirements have been identified and presented to improve the space criterias in TRSM buildings.
